Find your words with more confidence

You have something to say. Let’s practise saying it.

You recognise the words, but a fast conversation makes them hard to retrieve. In lessons, you have time to think, ask questions and try again.

Two people talking over coffee

A few things we could practise

  • Finish a short answer without reading a script
  • Ask for time or clarification
  • Describe something when one word is missing
  • Repeat a realistic conversation with feedback

We keep the first task manageable and build from it. This is language practice at your level, with corrections that help you communicate.

Keep speaking when people switch to English

CLEAR STEPS. REAL PRACTICE.

A plan, with room for you.

01

Tell me what matters

We discuss your current Dutch, the situations you want to handle and what has been difficult so far.

02

Practise something useful

Try an activity at your level. We add useful language and repeat the conversation with feedback.

03

Keep building

Follow a clear learning path, revisit useful language and adapt the lessons as your needs change.

What would you practise in a lesson?

Choose a situation. Here is one small example of the kind of language we can work on together.

An example for work

Check what a colleague needs.

A colleague asks for help with a task. You need to check the deadline.

Try the question, listen to a possible answer, then practise with your own task. We add grammar and pronunciation where they help.

Tegen wanneer heb je het nodig?

When do you need it by?

An example for everyday life

Stay in the conversation.

You catch part of a story at the table, but miss the last sentence.

Practise asking for help, listening again and adding a short response of your own. A question counts as joining in, too.

Kun je dat laatste nog eens herhalen?

Could you repeat that last part?

An example for beginners

Introduce yourself. Then ask a question.

You are meeting someone for the first time. A few useful patterns are enough to begin.

Build a short introduction with your own details, ask a follow-up question and practise understanding a simple reply.

Ik ben … Ik woon in … En jij?

I’m … I live in … And you?

Examples, not a fixed syllabus. Your level and goals shape the actual lesson.
